A step by step guide for creating your own homemade sex toys. Have fun with simple household objects including balloons, melons, blankets, beach balls, sponges, shampoo bottles, bananas, bubble wrap and plastic bags.
The Melon Lover Step 1. Buy yourself a rock melon or honeydew melon. Cut a round hole in one end a bit smaller than your penis. Scoop out a little of the inside but not too much, remember, you're making sex toys not digging ditches. Step 2. Heat up the melon and squirt in some natural lubricant. Step 3. A little bonus to add to the melon procedure: On the opposite side of the melon from where your penis enters it, make a small hole with a skewer or small knife, but reaching all the way in to the 'vagina'. Wrap your hand around the melon after you insert your erection and put your finger over the hole on the outstroke. Remove your finger on the in-stroke, replace it over the hole on the outstroke. A nice substitute for a blow job!

The Joy of Sex During Pregnancy

'Unless your health care provider advises you otherwise, sex during pregnancy is safe for you and your baby. Many expectant parents worry that sex can be harmful during pregnancy. They fear that intercourse could hurt the baby, or even cause miscarriage. The partner sometimes worries that intercourse might cause discomfort or pain for the pregnant woman. Worries like this are common and completely normal, but most of them are unfounded.
Many women are not very interested in sex while they are pregnant. Exhaustion, raging hormones, tender breasts and self-consciousness about her growing girth can put a pregnant women’s sex drive on hold. Some women find that pregnancy makes them want sex more than they did before they became pregnant. This sex drive is caused by hormonal changes. For some women, newfound voluptuousness can play a role in making them feel sexier than ever.
Positions that work before pregnancy and early in pregnancy can be uncomfortable or even unsafe at later stages of the baby’s development. For example, a woman should avoid lying flat on her back after the fourth month of pregnancy, because the weight of the growing uterus puts pressure on major blood vessels. Fortunately, there are alternatives to the traditional missionary position, such as lying sideways or having the woman on top.

Every couple of years, another once-scandalous sex taboo starts making its way toward the commonplace. A decade ago, blow jobs were what people whispered about; then three-ways became the naughty bedroom act. Now, it’s anal sex - but according to the Centers for Disease Control’s National Survey of Family Growth, it’s rapidly becoming a regular feature of hetero couples’ horizontal activities.
The survey, released last year, showed that 38.2 percent of men between 20 and 39 and 32.6 percent of women ages 18 to 44 engage in heterosexual anal sex. Compare that with the CDC’s 1992 National Health and Social Life survey, which found that only 25.6 percent of men 18 to 59 and 20.4 percent of women 18 to 59 indulged in it.
... Though the report is chock-full of all kinds of straight, gay, and lesbian sex in fairly graphic detail, there’s absolutely no research on female-to-male anal play. ... But the newly discovered anti-cancer benefits of prostate stimulation are giving straight guys - a legitimate excuse to be more, shall we say, open to exploration. And men’s magazines, which until recently discussed anal sex only in terms of how to trick a girlfriend into giving it up, now publish articles on the Aneros - the doctor created, FDA approved prostate stimulator - and the male G-spot, a.k.a. the P-spot, a.k.a. the He-spot.

By studying men watching pornographic videos, researchers in Canada have pinpointed areas of the brain that become active when the men tried to avoid being stimulated. In evolutionary terms, these regions of restraint (the prefrontal cortex) are newer than the more primitive areas where the sexual urges arise in the first place (the limbic system).
