Hello All....I have been a member with a active gold membership for some time now. I have had some great chats and hookups with some beautiful, gracious, intelligent, and sexy women. However, since the beginning of my membership I must say that the ratio has not been a pleasing one.
Women or those who are open to meeting a man (Black Men), seem to be not as responsive as I would like them to be on a site such as this one. This is a sexually oriented site which is geared toward people who are interested in sex. Now I am fully aware that a relationship could string from such a site but the majority of people who are on here want sex. I have viewed many women profiles on here and attempted to contact several weekly. Sometimes, I get a "flirt" back or even a message sparking a chat either online or over the phone. Those who seem to have a connect in their profile with similar wants, interests, and needs sometimes the replies go unanswered. I have also noticed that there may be a few messages back and forth between a course of time with a end result of nothing.
Why? I have wondered this answer for sometime now. Why post a profile? Are you a teaser? Why pay for a gold membership and not use the benefits of the membership to its fullest. Why waste your time? Are you just see who maybe interested in you or are you having some sort of a identity problem and need someone to boost your eagle. I can understand that if I am contacting you and you are not into black men or prefer women but if there are equal interest, what is the deal? I don't get it.
I am sure there are others- male and female who agree with me on this issue. I would like to hear from the members..........realone700

I am really not a blogger nor a freelance writer but I feel it is necessary to write down my frustrations with this site and the "newer" membership.
To all the older members who really know and are aware of the purpose of this site, please understand that this doesn't apply to you. To all the newer or renewed members of AdultFriendFinder, let's talk a bit.
I have been a member on this great site for years and I have met some incredible woman who share the same desires and passions that I have which is great sex, one-on-one encouters, or friend with benefits. I have even been open to a long term relationship with the right woman. Hey, we are all adults, so let's start acting like adults. The teasing and model-like female members who just pose in photos as if they are seeking attention or like they are living out their dreams of being a model in Hustler or Playboy need to go. Come on now! Who are you fooling ladies? Some of you have no desire and/ or intent to hook-up with a guy on this website. After being on here and paying a "gold" membership just to receive props will get old very fast. You should know that guys are visual beings who eventually want to touch and feeling something. However, I guess I can see why so many of you still play the same games and just pose as if you are a model out of Vogue magazine if guys continue to give you the time of day by rooting you on with comments and likes. I remember enjoying the earlier times on this site when real, serious women seeked out men and wanted to chat, share pics, talk over a phone (which most of you have forgotten what that is), and agreed to meet you in hopes for mutually moving forward towards sexual encounters. What happened? I hear from some "real serious" women that there are men who are acting the same by fronting and faking the need to want to hook-up. I am wasting my money? I have had some better results from other site like the EH site. Please ladies, if your intentions are to be a model or tease, make room for the serious woman who want to have real life sexual experiences.

I am looking for a real woman who is blunt enough to get together with a real guy.
