It's here! My very own GROUP. I mean I get to be the moderator and everything. It's even got its own chat room for God's sake. This is just so neat! And not only that, I get to have my very own personal harem. How cool is that? (Eat your hearts out guys.)

Due to numerous requests from people of the female persuasion, I have opened Boomer Harem. I cordially invite all women and eunuchs to join in the fun and debauchery. Sorry, if you have a cock you will not be admitted. We have a very large bouncer guarding the door.

Man Laws? How About Chick Laws?

I assume everyone has been exposed to the Miller Lite "manlaw" ad campaign by now. It is a sophomoric campaign geared towards their target demographic. But, you must admit, some of it is funny. Here are a couple of examples from their website of "manlaws":

Activities that do not count as sports are ones where you are required to wear "cute" clothing. These are activities, not sports.

Men should never show emotion, unless their team wins the championship or if their mom, dog, or first car dies, under any circumstances.

I'm sure we could all come up with lots more manlaws. We men are such easy targets nowadays.

But how about some, ahem, Chicklaws? Anybody care to contribute some?

My first lesson in how the REAL world works

So here I was. Senior year in college. I went to my adviser to review my transcript and graduation requirements. We discovered I was missing a required course: English 101 - a freshman composition course.

Naturally, at this stage of my college career I had absolutely no desire to sit in some lecture hall with 150 fuzzy-faced freshmen. I knew by that time I could write. After all I had written countless term papers.

I was an avid bridge player in college and my regular bridge partner was an English professor. I was a much better player than he was, and he knew it. As luck would have it, he was teaching English 101 that semester, so I enrolled in his class.

Well, I never attended that class. Never took an exam, midterm or final. At the end of the semester, we were having drinks at his house after a game of bridge. He asked me if i remembered enrolling in his class. I said I did. I knew he wouldn't fail me, he'd probably give me an incomplete or something of the kind. He proceeded to tell me that in all good conscience he couldn't give me an A.

When my grades came through, I had an A- in English 101. I actually got three college credits for playing bridge. I think that was the single most important lesson I learned in four years of college.

What was your first lesson in how the world really works?

Ring tones

I can't really take credit for this question. I read it on another blog. But I suppose I can elaborate on it.

Today's cell phones (remember when only the RICH assholes had them?) have a lot of features. One of them is the ability to take a song clip and use it as a ring tone. And not only that, you can have individual ring tones for individual people or groups in your phone book.

I have done that with my phone, and it really helps me decide whether to answer the call or let the caller leave a message. Here is how my phone rings:

Brother or Sister calling - We Are Family

Call from work - Nice Work If You Can Get It

Best friend (who tends to drink too much) - I Think The World Needs A Drink

Bridge Partner - Bridge Over Troubled Waters

Unknown Caller - Strangers In The Night

Someone in my "black book" group - Pretty Woman

Ex calling (from home) - You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling

Ex calling (from cell) - I'm Gonna Hate Myself In The Morning

So, how does your phone ring?

I was perusing the Advice Line questions today and they were particularly bad. Repetitive, nonsensical and just plain boring. There must be a full moon or something.

I have a question for those of you who have used the Advice Line. What was the stupidest question you ever asked? The one you didn't realize was so bad until you saw the answers. Then you wanted to crawl into a cave. I know you were new here when you posted it, so you're forgiven.

I'll start. I confess the first question I asked was whether people liked shaved or hairy pussy.

So what was yours?

Well, I've had so many requests to post or send a cock picture that I finally relented and am posting one here.

How many of you think you could handle a cock that
large?

Thanks to sensuouswoman3, who answered my question about borders in her blog, I have learned a few tricks to "fancy up" mine. SW3 directed me to GoddessOfTheDawn. GoddessOfTheDawn has lots of great tips for entering all sorts of neat fonts and effects to your blog.

So, how do you all like my new look?

When I was a young boy, I fell off my bike and went home crying, with skinned elbows and knees. I was told to suck it up; it didn't hurt that much. But, dammit, it did hurt. I knew that. However, I learned my lesson well and that was the last time in my life I cried. From then on, I became proficient in handling life's bumps and bruises tearlessly.

As an adult, I have heard many women complain that men are unfeeling louts, afraid to show any emotion. Yet when they see a man in tears, they think he's a wimp.

Yes, a sad movie can make me feel like crying, but I don't. Sometimes I am sad, or depressed, or afraid, but I don't show it.

I guess my question is what do women really want, and expect in a man? Do they want someone who wears his heart on his sleeve or the Rock of Gibraltar?

Any comments?

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I'll reiterate what has been said here so many times before. When I first came to this site, I assumed it would just be a smorgasbord of women just itching to get laid. Well, I met some on line, some in person. Had some good times, some bad. Have some where the jury is still out. But a funny thing has happened since I've gotten to explore and know the site better. My priority here is no longer simply the pursuit of a piece of ass. I have made friends with people I am extremely unlikely to ever meet in the flesh. And damn certain wouldn't have met in any venue but the internet. Yes, I'm talking about certain specific people, and you know who you are. And, if you're not sure if I'm referring to you, assume I am! I don't want to ramble on here, it's not my nature. But I just think it is the coolest thing in the world to meet people as diverse as you all and be able to converse and joke and have a good non-judgmental time with each other.

Here we go again...

Tropical storm Alberto, the first named storm of the season, has come and gone leaving no great damage in its wake. It did, however, provide an early warning to prepare for hurricane season. Two years ago, here in south Florida, we endured three near-misses in a month. I was evacuated all three times. Fortunately, we escaped that season with no damage. Everyone thought that 2004 season was an anomaly that was unlikely to recur in our lifetime.

Then 2005 came along. You are all aware of the damage done by Katrina. Fortunately, Katrina was but a glancing blow to us. However, several weeks later Hurricane Wilma paid a visit. It is a scary feeling to sit in your living room and watch your windows blow out one by one. I lost fifteen of nineteen windows and was without electricity for two weeks after the storm. As I write this, there are still many “blue roofs” (covered with FEMA tarps) to be seen around here. Many people have not recovered from last year, and here we are staring a new hurricane season squarely in the face.

I suppose the occasional hurricane is the price we pay for living in Florida. The Midwest has tornadoes, there are blizzards up North and California has not only earthquakes, but brush fires and mudslides to boot.

What about where you live? Does anyone live in an area which is prone to no natural disasters? If so, where?

My profession has some interesting perks. One of them is I actually get paid to cruise an average of three times each year. This has allowed me to go to some great places. I've cruised to Hawaii, Alaska, Northern and Southern Europe, transatlantic, Rio, Bermuda, Panama Canal and countless Caribbean islands.

Now I understand that many people would like to do this, but I am at the point where I am very blase about getting on another cruise ship, especially to the Caribbean. The last cruise I took, 11 days, I didn't bother getting off the ship at any of the ports of call. Been there, done that and really do have the t-shirt.

I wonder if anyone else here has a job or benefits which they take for granted that other people would think is fabulous?

Profile pictures - question for the ladies

I notice a lot of the ladies have "don't send cock pictures" in their profiles. Not having browsed men's profiles, I wonder how many men say "don't send tit or pussy pictures?"
