Saturday Night : What Am I Doing ?

Laundry is my exciting activity this evening. Washing several pairs of jeans, I began to think about how much they have changed over the past thirty years or so. Back when I was in junior high school, jeans were either straight leg ( few ever wore those ), bell - bottom, or super bell - bottom. All styles fit snug around the ass. Most importantly, they had to be Levi's ! Anything else would result in considerable ridicule from one's peers. The fashion changed very little until around the time of my high school graduation when designer name jeans suddenly became essential additions to everyone's wardrobe. I have to admit, that first pair of Calvin Klein jeans that I pulled on felt Damn Good ! They fit better than any other pair of jeans I had ever owned before and I felt sophisticated wearing them. Once again for several years jeans did not change much, many designers came and went. Then, I'm not precisely sure when it happened ------ maybe twelve years ago, jeans became so loose fitting that they were falling off of guys asses !!!! Whose crazy idea was that ? During the same time period, relaxed fit jeans became more popular as an alternative to the classic fit. These jeans provided more room in the thighs, ass, and crotch without being overly baggy. Exactly what many of us guys needed ! I began wearing only relaxed fit jeans approximately eight years ago and have been pleased with the comfort they provide, but not the way they look on me. Recently, in an effort to appear slimmer, I purchased a pair of classic fit jeans. I thought they looked good on me, so I decided to wear them one day when I went to visit a lady friend. A few days after seeing her, this lady asked me if I was " Hard " during our visit. Well, sheepishly I had to explain to her that while I found her to be incredibly gorgeous, sexy, and desirable, my cock and balls were so constrained within my new jeans that there was no room for expansion ! Now I understand why someone decided to relax the fit of jeans ! I had forgotten how little room was available for regular occupancy and how no room was provided for growth. After that experience, I'm thinking I should only wear the relaxed fit jeans. I wonder what the ladies prefer ?

During the past several months, many bloggers have written posts that contained lists of special information about themselves. Some of these lists contained as many as 100 items of interest, while others I have read numbered 26. Recently, the " Tag " game specified that the tagee ( Is there such a word ? ) should write 6 strange or unusual facts about themself. Well, after being tagged I did comply and wrote 6 odd facts about myself.However, I have never written one of those long, things about me posts ---- and I probably won't write one anytime soon. I doubt that many people here would even be interested. But, for the friends I have made ( And for any future friends ) Do you have any questions about me that you would like to ask ?

Is there anything more amazing than the human hand ? When one considers the vast range of its capabilities and incredible precision in performing countless different functions, the hand is truly a marvel to behold. From the lightest feathery touch, to a vise - like squeeze, the hand has the ability to instantly adapt. It can also translate our thoughts by either writing or typing them into words; or express our innate sense of beauty by creating art. We build with our hands; we destroy with our hands; we repair with our hands; we talk with our hands; and we love with our hands. How many tasks do we engage our hands in each day ? Probably hundreds for most of us, perhaps even thousands for others. But, for me, there is nothing I would rather do than use the warmth, skill, and strength of my hands to heal, soothe, arouse, excite, and erupt my lover.

It seems as though the two colors that best denote sexy are black and red. What woman does not become more alluring when wearing a black dress ? How tempting is it to caress a woman in black velvet bra & panties ? And a woman in a red dress ---- well many songs have been written describing how incredibly enticing her visage appears ! Then, red silky bra & panties ? They immediately ignite fiery passions ! What is it about these colors that elicits such strong sexual responses ? A Brief Thank You To All My Friends

It meant so much to me receiving all of your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. This site is full of wonderful, warm, loving people who make this so much more than a sex site.
Today, my sister had both of her cancerous breasts removed during an operation that required four hours to complete. She came through the surgery very well, and she may actually be released sometime on Thursday. This is another step along her path to recovery ..... but she still has a long, difficult journey ahead. For now, I wish to thank all of my friends for the encouragement, kindness, prayers, and support you have blessed me with. I will never forget !

A Song That Made Me Cry Today

I arrived home late this afternoon with a myriad of thoughts, feelings and worries. It was too much to deal with altogether. My new grandson being in the hospital with serious jaundice; and my barely recovered from childbirth, staying at his side since Tuesday evening to attempt to feed him every few hours and having almost no sleep. Then, the matter of my sister who will be having both of her breasts removed this coming Tuesday; followed by 30 days of radiation treatments, and then, another operation to remove her uterus & ovaries. Then, there is a financial crisis amongst my entire family. Then, there is my own personal situation I am doing my best to hide. I just wanted to go curl up on my bed and go to sleep to escape for awhile. Actually, I wish that I had something to drink to help me go to sleep, because I know that I could not release my thoughts and go to a restful state. But, I very rarely drink anything and only a little wine when I do, so that was not an option.
Suddenly, I remembered that tonight was the community talent show at my 's school. I quickly left the house and drove to the school, arriving about ten minutes before the beginning of the program. My and his best friend worked at the concession stand for the first portion of the program, and then later took over as the emcee for the second half. There were fourteen various performances by students and some parents in different combinations. Most of them were singing, but there were some intrumental acts as well.
One performance brought me to tears. A truly inspiration, incredible man who is highly respected and beloved in our community, Sang the song " Bridge Over Troubled Waters ". He was accompanied on drums by his , a young man in his early twenties, who has Down's Syndrome. It was so wonderful to hear the clear richness of the father's voice, and to hear the enthusiastic compliment of the beating the drums. I remember listening to this song all of the time when it was on the radio back in the late 1960's, but it never affected me anything like what it did tonight. I bowed my head forward during the middle portion of the song and allowed my tears to flow. Simon & Garfunkel could not have performed their own song anywhere near as moving or as symbolic as what this amazing father and had just managed to do for us in the audience. For their outstanding performance, they were awarded first place in the adult category ! Watching them accept their trophy, did help to raise my own spirits a little higher and that is a blessing considering how I was feeling before the show.

I imagine that this cycle could continue on indefinately. I don't mind posting a few unknown ( Or relatively unknown ) items about myself, however, at this time, I will not " Tag " any other bloggers. Now, where shall I begin ?
1. When I go to sleep, I place a Christmas card I received from an incredibly special person, on top of the extra pillow beside me. This card always accompanies me when I travel.
2. I am an extremely sentimental person who maintains the exact dates and times that certain events occured with a loved one, clearly in my memory for many years.
3. Even though I just became a grandfather twelve days ago, I would love to have a baby again.
4. When eating a meal with several items on my plate, I always eat all of whatever cools off quickest, and continue in this manner with each particular food, finally finishing with the one that remains warm for the longest time. With cold food, I save the best for last.
5. More than a few years ago, when I was in the Air Force, I won a contest for having the best legs, as judged by the ladies in uniform.
6. While I may appear to be very serious all of the time to those who don't know me well, I am truly a humorous man most of the time. Unfortunately, my smile and laughter are not present today due to many factors / situations / events that I am dealing with.

When I was in high school I belonged to a youth group at my family church. Each year we would hold a " Slave Auction " to raise money for our various activities and trips. Usually, one of the church members would " Buy " me to perform yardwork or some type of heavy labor around their home. Now, what would happen if I were being sold to the highest bidder amongst my friends here ? What would you be willing to pay to obtain my services for a day ? What type of tasks would you require me to complete ? What would your supervisory style be like ? How determined would you be to out - bid the competion to ensure that I would belong to you for the day ? Ok, let the bidding begin !!!!!

New Grandpa Is Back !

This is just a short post to inform all of my friends that I have returned home safely as the jubilant grandfather of a one week old, baby boy ! My gave birth at 6:12 A.M. on Sunday, March 12, 2006. I cannot begin to express how proud I am of my , seeing her endure the entire labor process, only leaving the room when she began to push the baby out. She did it wihout the aid of an epidural ! She maintained her focus and continued to breathe perfectly with each contraction. I could not stand the pain she experienced, and while she never cried or screamed, I could not help but cry ! Thankfully, everything progressed extremely well and both my and grandson were able to go home the next day quite strong and healthy. This was a journey that I will never forget ------ for several different reasons. But mostly, for all of the love that I experienced.

I have been very busy with personal and family responsibilities of late. My time here on the blogs has been very brief this past month. I feel rather out of touch with the blogs that I usually closely follow.
Tomorrow, I am leaving home to go to my in Michigan, to be with her as she gives birth to my first grandchild ! I cannot even begin to believe that ! My little girl is all grown - up and about to become a mother ! I just cannot believe how quickly time passed. I still feel like a young father, not an impending grandfather. I do at least have a great deal of experience raising by myself. But, I don't see myself as a model grandfather. Why, because I am just too Damn Horny ! LOL !!! Does the fact that a man is a grandfather, make him less hot to women ? Or, as a special friend once told me, A good man ages like fine wine. I will drink to that !

WORST HOLIDAY ?

As Valentine's Day draws near, I begin to ponder what the worst holiday is for those of us without a lover. For me, I am not sure which one is worse: is it Valentine's Day; or, is it New Year's Eve ? Both days have become synonymous with romantic love. It does not help that we are bombarded by all forms of media during these periods, with messages of how these days should be wonderfully enjoyed with a special partner. When we do not have anyone to be with, we are left feeling more lonely than on ordinary days.
Some of my other worst days to be single probably would be Christmas, and my birthday. Yes, I know that my birthday is not recognized as a holiday, but it does mean a great deal to me and I always feel a very strong desire to be loved on that day. While on the subject of birthdays, it occurs to me that perhaps the worst holiday of all, is the birthday of someone I love, but cannot be with to share the day. I may rejoice and celebrate the life of that person from afar, but deep within my spirit, I am saddened to not be able to experience the celebration in person. I understand that is wrong, however, it is the truth for me.

It seems as though no one is completely satisfied with every area of their body. People whom most would consider to be very beautiful and desirable, always focus upon some perceived flaws. These alleged imperfections often remain unnoticed or are deemed inconsequential by others. Perhaps we should all be more grateful for everything that our bodies are capable of doing and experiencing. Instead of directing a spotlight upon the portions of our bodies that we feel are less than sexy, why not take a moment to consider some other features ? What part of your body do you feel most comfortable with ? What do you believe is your best asset ?

Where do you envision making love for the first time with someone whom you truly care about ? Would it be at your home, or perhaps at their's ? Maybe, a beautiful hotel suite ? What about a serene, secluded outdoor location ? Any thoughts of a unique place that no one else might ever consider ? Where do you see making love with me for the first time ?
Now, I am using the term " Making Love ", not just getting it on, having sex. That could be done just about anywhere. I am only interested in truly devoted,soul to soul, all encompassing lovemaking. Where would it be ?
