Since Malaysia is having it's GREEN EVERY DAY, below is the song by Zainal Abidin called HIJAU. It's a cool song, have always love it!

Go Green Everyone, Ash

Bumi yang tiada rimba
Seumpama hamba
Dia dicemar manusia
Yang jahil ketawa

Bumi yang tiada udara
Bagai tiada nyawa
Pasti hilang suatu hari
Tanpa disedari

Bumi tanpa lautan
Akan kehausan
Pasti lambat laun hilang
Duniaku yang malang

Dewasa ini kita saling merayakan
Kejayaan yang akhirnya membinasakan
Apalah gunanya kematangan fikiran
Bila di jiwa kita masih lagi muda
Dan mentah
Ku lihat hijau

Bumiku yang kian pudar
Siapa yang melihat
Di kala kita tersedar
Mungkinkah terlewat

Korupsi,opresi,obsesi diri
Polusi,depressi,di bumi,kini

Oh..anok-anok
tokleh meghaso mandi laok
Besaing,maing ghama-ghama
Ale lo ni tuo umurnyo bejuto
Kito usoho
Jauhke dari malapetako
Ozon lo ni koho nipih nak nak aghi
Keno make asak
Hok biso wei,pasa maknusio
Seghemo bendo-bendo di dunio
Tokleh tehe
Sapa bilo-bilo

Party Pooper!!

My gfs used to call me a party pooper... But i've improved.. and was able to stay later than 12 midnight at a party, in the last few months (there's a secret to it why i can do that ).

However, at the recent birthday party, i couldn't stay long.. stayed till 1.30am or so, when the birthday girl only had 2 flamings lamborghini out of her 8. Dang.. i missed it.

I was feeling tired, and i knew my blood pressure was down , so, i wasn't myself, plus only had bites to eat before the party didn't help me either. so, i guess i had no choice but be a party pooper and went home earlier than anyone else did Why do i always miss out on so much .. arrrggggh.

Party was good and wished i could stay longer though.... Many people showed up - AdultFriendFinder members and non-AdultFriendFinder members too, which was fantastic. Woke up with a headache although i didn't drink and slept for 13 hours on saturday night, eventhough i didn't stay up till 6am on Friday night hehehehe..

Anyway, next one will be mine, in July .. yippee.. looking forward to it.. though i've to figure out on how to be able to stay up later than usual.. I've a few ways to do it.. such as

>> take the days off - and i mean days off, so that i could rest

>> take my iron pills - double the dose (as per doc's prescription)

>> take more salt - as per doc's advise hehehe

>> take my secret pill (it's a diet pill but am taking it cause it increases my metabolism rate, but am not losing weight either ) - this is as per doc's prescription too you know

>> lots of coca cola too hehehehe

So, hopefully all goes well.. See ya at my party.

For the kiwi bird that i recently know, sorry i missed your sun sign lol

Enjoy!!!

"Behind that cool Capricorn exterior lies a white-hot interior waiting to be discovered by a worthy lover. Splendor beneath the sheets is likely to be a straight-ahead affair for the Sea Goat, since this practical Earth sign doesn't need anything flashy or fancy to get aroused. The arousal here is from being happily in love, since love and sex do go hand in hand for Capricorn. The Sea Goat is a persistent, passionate and loyal lover, so whoever is on the receiving end is in for a guaranteed good time. While Capricorns abhor being dependent on their lover, they would certainly like to be nurtured by them and exposed to new levels of delight. There is no doubting that the frisky Sea Goat can explode with an understanding, strong and libidinous partner."[/COLOR]

This is specially for Simtech, as I didn't include Aquarius in the Horoscope of Kinks' Post

"As befits an Air sign, Aquarians tend to approach sex via the mind. If they can share and discuss their thoughts with their lover, matters in bed will be greatly enhanced. Their natural curiosity will also lead them to experiment with creative play between the sheets, so watch out! Pushing the envelope is a natural response for these folks, and they'll continually test the waters for ever greater pleasures. A delicious mystery lurks beneath the surface of these often-controlled souls, and the lover who can call their bluff is in for a wild ride. The issue of mind vs. body, and which is more important, is also with the Water Bearer. A lover who can convince them of the pleasure principle will set this sexual being free."

So, Aquarian, when shall we test the waters?

Hugs, Ash

Recently, as most of you should know by now, that Miss Japan had won the Miss Universe title recently.

I assume, from here on, there will be more and more people from western countries be looking towards asia to find their better half, as it is already happening now.

So, anyone wants to be my very own Mr Universe???

Elephant Crossings

Waking up on a Sunday morning to a newspaper with a picture of an elephant laying down on his sides and you can plainly see his broken legs, was not a good thing. This is the second time i've read in the newspapers these last few years that elephants been hit by trains as they were crossing the railway tracks.

This elephant died the next day due to the wounds he sustained from the incident. So, question is how do you lift an elephant weighing a tonne in the middle of the jungle, and to bring him to the nearest veterinarian, which would be miles and miles away.

Anyway, one more life lost in the wilderness and the jungles of Malaysia

SEGAMAT: An elephant crossing a railway line in Bekok early yesterday sustained two broken hind legs when it was hit by a train.
The impact of the collision flung the animal, believed to be 10 years old and weighing about a tonne, into a 15m ravine near the tracks.

Wildlife and National Parks Department officers and doctors from the Veterinary Services Department were trying to save the elephant, which was reported to be in critical condition.

It is understood it would be put to sleep if efforts to save it failed. The train, which started its journey from Kuala Lumpur, was heading for Singapore when the incident happened at 4.50am.

The driver lodged a report at the Paloh police station near Yong Peng at 7am.
None of the train passengers were hurt in the incident, which attracted the attention of many, some of whom were feeding sugarcane to the elephant. The animal is said to have come from a herd living in a nearby jungle.

Following reports of wild animals crossing the tracks, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd drivers have been told to slow down when passing the area.

Elephants have been spotted frequently crossing the tracks between Labis and Bekok.

On Nov 2, 2004, two 4.5 tonne female elephants died while another was injured when they were hit by a train near Labis.

Three elephants, including a calf, escaped unscathed in the 7pm incident.

--- The End ---

I was told of this story when I was on the way to work this morning, and I’d like to share it with you. It was related to me, non other than my dearest Uncle Taxi Driver. So, I just wanted to share my thoughts with you.

The story begins during the month of Ramadhan ‒ just a few days before the end of fasting month, last year. My Uncle mentioned to me that one his neighbour’s house was visited by the police. Then later on he found out that his neighbour has been arrested while driving the day before. Charge was possession of drugs. He had a pillion rider on his bike, who was eventually found guilty of having drugs.

Anyway, can you just imagine that he had to go to prison and spend his days while celebrating Hari Raya in the prison? The family couldn’t bail him out cause it was beyond their means. You see, he was only a school bus driver and his wife is just a housewife who does babysitting as an additional income to the family.

Months went by, Christmas, Hari Raya Haji, New Years, Chinese New Years…. In the meantime, he was transferred to at least 3 prisons within 7 months. My Uncle managed to track his movement to the point of knowing when did he go to the courts and all. I guess the charges were dropped as he maintained his innocence as he didn’t know that his pillion driver was carrying drugs. He maintained that if he knew he had drugs with him, why did he bother to go through a road block when he could see one, instead of making a U-turn and thus avoiding the road block. Plus his urine test was clear.

A few weeks back, my Uncle found out that he was going to be released from prison. So, my uncle arranged to pick him up. It was a sad reunion, as he didn’t expect anyone would come and pick him up. However, upon release, he had to immediately report himself to the nearest police station, and there he was told that he is under parole and to report back to the police every month for a year.

Meantime, his friend is still in the prison, waiting for another trial I guess.

I hope that none of us will ever go through what he has gone through in the last 7 months.

Tiger Cub

Headlines : Tiger Cub was found on the verandah of a kampung house in Batu Pahat, Johor

This headlines was on the newspaper this morning. The cub looked like a kitten (as shown in the picture) but the family who found the kitten then heard the roar of the tigers, and realised that they were holding on to a tiger cub instead of a kitten. I assumed that the zoo authorities will be knocking on their door soon to retrieve the cub and care for it in the zoo.

Amazing thing is that we still have tigers roaming our jungles in Malaysia, which is a good thing. Though am sure there are a lot of places in Malaysia which are still serving endangered animals as a dish as the authorities been capturing and saving animals from captivities many times in the past 3 years.

Either we are heartless or we just do not care about them. How can you eat animals as cute as this tiger cubs and make a hearty meal out of it. Is it nice eating exotic food? I know a friend who had gastric problems after eating whale meat in Japan. He was actually eating a mammal... eww.. how disgusting.

Anyone up for Escargot?

Date : Sunday, 29 April 2007 to Wednesday, 2 May 2007
Venue : Singapore

Planning for this trip to Singapore kicked off almost a month earlier. WetP became our designated trip coordinator . She bought the tickets, organized our rooms in Singapore, and even coordinated with the chatters in Singapore for the dinners. There were 4 of us who had confirmed going on this trip.

Unfortunately, 5 days before the trip, WetP and I had our dinner at Laksa Shack (you should check out the Keropok Lekor ‒ it’s crispy and yummy), and then she told me she might not go on the trip due to family reasons (you can check out her blog to know more of it). I had no choice but to take the bus tickets from her that night. She announced it to everyone that she won’t be going on Thursday, and passed the relevant telephone numbers to me on Friday and again reminded me on Saturday, the dinners that have been coordinated in Singapore for Sunday night & Monday night. The rest of the times ‒ there were no confirmed meets yet.

About midnight on Saturday night, DM2 sent an sms informing me that she won’t be going to Singapore either. Lucky for me Shellyanna confirmed her trip, and planned to meet at the pick-up point in Bangsar on Sunday morning.

Sunday, 29 April 2007
- It was a good trip down to Singapore. Have never taken a bus ride down to Singapore before, so, it was enjoyable. One stop in Pagoh for a 20 minute drink. Stopped at Tanjong Pelepas Immigration Counter ‒ got down and did the normal immigration checks. Crossed the 2nd link ‒ very fast and very nice link too. Got down again from the bus along with our luggage, and did the normal immigration checks at CBT.
- Was picked up by 2 chatters (TS & Bad) from Singapore at novena square and checked in into the budget hotel. Was informed later that the gardens behind our hotel room was the gardens of Singapore’s so called “grandfather” We each took a room, and throughout the duration of our stay, we maintained separate rooms. 
- Started sending sms to everyone in Singapore (or almost everyone) informing them that we have arrived in Singapore safely.
- Had home cooked chili crab for lunch, courtesy by one of the lady chatters.
- Then met 3 other chatters who had come up to our rooms as well, and we planned to have dinner together ‒ Blips and FatL from Sg & Feeln ‒ first time I met a filipino chatter  hehehe
- Dinner was a bit of a problem as we girls forgot to inform our Sg counterparts that it has to be Pork Free restaurant. We were joined by an old buddy of mine (David) who’s now a PR in Sg but originate from the US  haven’t seen him for more than 2 years. Well, he looks good as usual 
- Ended up in a Mexican/Italian Restaurant, and continued to have ice cream at Haagen Dazs.
- Was sent back to the hotel, and another chatter / blogger (Mr D) picked us up for a tour of the city and we ended up at Seletar Reservoir. We had a nice chat and he’s a nice fella actually.

Monday, 30 April 2007
- woke up with a raging migraine in the morning. Had panadols, and tried to sleep it off, but it didn’t work. Sent an sms to my Kiwi for lunch and reminded him not to forget to bring ponstan for me.
- Sent an sms to 2 fellow chatters (KK & UP) who were free for lunch with us. UP said I looked good when am just out of bed… oooh… hehehehe 
- Were joined by Kiwi as he had managed to leave his office earlier, and brought paracetamol with codeine instead of ponstan.
- Damn… that paracetamol with codeine made me feel lousier and gosh, i can’t imagine how I could stand walking in the hot sun to the food court based at the Le Meridien hotel, in that condition.
- Was happy that I managed to meet kiwi as I’ve not seen him the last 2 years either. Checked out his scar on the back for his operation on his disc. Very long scar.. yikes !
- In the evening had dinner with TS & Bad and TS’ friend at an Indonesian restaurant in Furuma Hotel ‒ nice  Then they drop me off at the hotel and they went off partying at St James that night.. while I have a quiet night on my own.. 
- Met Torp as well, who came by to the hotel for a short spell. He met me when am at my lousiest

Tuesday, 1 May 2007 ‒ Labour Day & my mom’s 18th death anniversary
- the girls in KL wondered why I practically spent a lot of time in the room instead of going out, well, now you know why. It’s not a happy week for me, but the reason I need to go somewhere out of KL is that I don’t want to be in KL on this particular day.
- Had lunch with David ‒ my American friend at another Indonesian restaurant  lol
- KK came again to our room that afternoon bringing starbucks coffee 
- Had dinner with KK and shellyanna’s friend at another food court at Atria.
- I was picked up later by Mr D again for supper. Went to Beach Road to have my Sup Tulang (bones soup and you suck up the bone marrows). Mind you, I’ve not seen a sup tulang before but have heard of it so many times from my dad. It’s red in colour and you’ve to slurp the insides of the bones with the straw  It was weird at first but damn it was a fantastic experience. Must bring David, the American guy to eat there some day… since he dared me to eat the beans on my plate on my first night when I don’t like beans in the first place.. yucks! Had Ikan Bakar as well (grilled fish)

Wednesday, 2 May 2007
- Got out of bed at 10:30am, showered and waited for Torp & Kiwi to pick us up to go to novena square for our bus ride at 2:30pm. Both came later as they had to go through traffic jam as well as kiwi had just finished his therapy that morning.
- They left us at the café at novena square at 1:30pm, as both had appointments at 2pm.
- Took the bus at 2:30pm, arrived in KL at 8pm.

Well, all in all, we had a good time in Singapore, except for my Monday migraine problems that zapped the energy out of me, other than that it was all in good fun.

Will be back some day soon, perhaps earlier than expected. Had made Torp and Kiwi promised that they will take the day off to take shellyanna around Singapore (on the next trip, soon I hope). I’ve done my tour of Singapore before, but won’t mind a Night Safari tour as I’ve not been to one yet. Plus there were a few people that we were not able to meet and contact. So, next trip, they’ll be on my list of people to meet as well 

Thanks to everyone who had been a good hosts for us, and hope to see you soon again. Give us a buzz whenever you’re in KL, and we’ll take you for a night out in KL.

Take care, ASH
