First Blog Year Winding Up
On Wednesday, June 28, 2006, I will celebrate the first anniversary of the creation of my blog here. I actually began reading the blogs shortly after their inception, but was hesitant to start writing my own posts. I did not know if anyone would find interest in my writing and I was not sure if it would be worth my effort to post anything. Additionally, I don't know how to type, therefore, in comparison to most bloggers, it would take me probably ten times as long as to construct a post! After a few months of reading & sometimes commenting upon other blogs, I decided to emerge from the shadows and create my own blog.

My first post received comments from six ladies ! Wow ! I was relieved that someone noticed me and found the post worthy of leaving comments. Perhaps they found me while reviewing the newly created blogs list ? However they located me, it felt good to receive some positive responses. Four months later, I met two of those ladies at the Bloggers convention in Chicago. The decision to write that first post was one I will never regret !

During this past year, there have been periods where I spent considerable time here, fairly regular time, and some periods of lapsed time between visits. My number of posts is fairly low ----- this one will only make it 85. Still a fair distance to go to reach the 100 post milestone which many fairly new bloggers have already surpassed. I have often considered giving up this blog. So much has happened in my personal and family life this past year that has made writing quite difficult. But the kindness and support of a few friends that I have been blessed with here, gives me all the reason I need to keep this blog open. Thank all of you !

Wow I started blogging not to long ago, I cant imagen a whole year. I do enjoy it though. As they say keep bloggin on

 What I think is fun is that fact that we primarily got to know each other in person BEFORE the blogs. Happy anniversary!
