Get Off My Cloud As per the last post, I'm hardly ever here. When I am here, I'm here to do this. I may post but I'm more likely to just read the posts of people that I've come to regard as friends. I rarely get email here and when I do most of it's filtered to the "Ido'thaveanythingincommonwithyou" box. My profile says I'm taken and that I'm just here to blog and why I allow stupid people to upset me... I'm actually sitting here shaking my head. Got an email from a 61 year old guy telling me that I need a doctor, sorry,I need more than a doctor and asking me why I'm here. I'm just here to piss you off, buddy. That's my single, only reason for even living. I have a better question, why not? Why should I not be here? I'm a human, humans are inherently curious. My familiar being a cat, I'm doubly so. I like to read, so I read here sometimes. When reading blogs, there is NO telling what you might read about on this "sex" site. I've seen someone blog about having to put their pet down and get 50 responses from other pet owners supporting them in their time of need. People also report something joyous happening in their lives (I'll do that in a minute). People want to know that they're like other people, that we all have similar experiences in handling life's difficulties. Thoreau said we lead lives of quiet desperation. Some of us want to know how others handled a certain desperation or even want other caring souls here to know they need help. All that being said, 61 year old turd, you can kiss my ass! I got a guy 22 years younger than you, so there! Now on to better things... The BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico really messed up my summer. Not knowing if it would reach land in my native state or the state that I really should move to kept me from visiting. To me if the oil had made it's way to my playground would have been like watching a treasured friend die. To see that in person would have made me cry. So visiting over the weekend, I'm happy to report, I saw NO oil. I'm even happier to report that I did it again! Kicked Rocky's ass the only way I can, out fished him! The state of Florida has placed restrictions on fishing certain species. Red snapper has been over-fished for years. They've made a recovery! Since the economy in the tourist areas in northern Florida has been so impacted by not only the economy but the oil spill (this is just my opinion), the state has opened fishing for red snapper over so many inches and only on wknds in October. We went out on a party boat, that's were a whole buncha people pay a little bit to fish as opposed to chartering a boat for say 4 people at 2 or 3 hundred a head. We got 7 altogether, 4 BIG red snapper, that's the 2 per person quota. I got a gag grouper and we both got a trigger fish each. The snapper were so big that one fillet will feed two people. After they were cleaned we got about 18 lbs of fish.... which doesn't make good economical sense if you count up the $$ spent to drive to Destin, stay in a hotel, pay for fishing, tip the crew and eat while we were there. It was worth it though to see Rocky catching fish and having fun. So uptight about getting there, but then relaxing on the boat. Seeing him laugh at me arguing with one of the drunk guys about NASCAR being a waste of time. People on this boat were drinking beer at 630 in the morning! By 1 PM they were literally too drunk to fish!  |

well you'd have kicked my ass too, I fear, W. Went out on a party boat back in August (one of my Tx friends has two daughters, an 11yo & a 7 yo; the 11 is pretty serious and does love to fish, but if he takes her out, the 7yo throws such a big fuss that she HAS to go too, and she is such a bundle of energy that he needs a designated dad to help; usually I end up Designated Dad with the 11yo and we have a great outing) ... anyway, we caught a few throw-back small fish, and that was that. Don't let the idiots on here get to you, my friend. You get dragged down to their leval and the beat you cause they are expert at being an idiot. Hugs too C
