Nuts ... Nuff Said

I've been wanting to write about politicians and congressional pages for a couple of days now, but the never-ending parade of moronic news keeps me off this topic.

Rep Mark Foley at least resigned in shame for his depravity, Gerry Studds, Barney Franks and Bill Clinton should have done the same. When authority figures engage or pressure young interns and pages into sexual acts ... well there should be a special place in hell for them. At least I got that off my chest, and now on to more infuriating things:

They're at it again. Members of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas (known for protesting military funerals with signs like "Thank God For Dead Soldiers" and "God Hates You" ) have decided to protest the funerals of the poor Amish , assassinated on Monday. When will the insanity end?

If ever an Amish man was tested in his faith, stifling the urge to throttle a protester at his ' funeral will probably be the biggest challenge of his life.

Would any jury convict a bereaved parent for battering any of these pusillanimous jerks ... not in my world ... and I dare say not in Blogland.

UPDATE
These not very Christian Baptists have decided not to protest the Amish funerals in exchange for an hour of air-time on a national radio show. I will not mention the name of the show ... I don't want to advertise for them. Besides, who really wants to listen to them spew their hate.
