January - But Deeper

Well,

Haven’t been around much this week - have some hard career decisions to make. Looking to buy a flat, errands to run, projects that need finishing, friends I really need to look up again! - And as for the gym.. I haven’t been for weeks!

So I'm really busy - but I don't feel busy - more I feel detached - kind of like I'm evaluating myself.

I've whole circles of friends I haven’t spoken to in months..

I feel sure things will have changed by Wednesday though. Things will be decided by then. Hopefully I'll have a new energy, purpose and confidence. I'll be ready to move forward with my life rather than tread water. This will be a good thing.

You've probably realised by now that this blog entry is for me far more than it is for you.

I guess most of the viewings of this post over the next few weeks will be me looking to see what I said I'd do, how I said I'll feel and compare that with what actually happened.

I've never been one for resolutions, but it looks like January will be a time for me to set out and define the rest of 2006, not in a promissory way, but in terms of new set of missions.

Gosh. That was deep. Contrast that with the superficial crap from the last post.

I'll make the next one more interesting. That's a mission rather than a promise.

Hi Craig

Good luck with whatever the result of Wed was. Taking stock of your life is no bad thing, but don't get hung up on it, taking stock is a tool for you to use to improve the next stage.

Don't worry re not keeping up with the gym nor your friends recently, that's in the past and you can't change it - just decide how you want to tackle it from now and go for it.

Take care.

Chele xx
