 I'm answering somewhat speculatively for my wife. She has no trouble getting herself off, and has had ten or more (usually a bunch of little ones, finishing with a big one) when I've gone down on her, so I have little doubt that she's exceeded ten on her own.

(My recharge is slow, so the most I've enjoyed in a day recently was three, but that was with her, not solo.)

Yeah, you need to be used to it... cannot go 50 from 1...
That is one reason I love orgasms: when it's 50, they are not that strong and deep, more like when playing alone, if having deep orgasms from several points around the same time, 50 is not possible (unless you count the different spots separately ), not to mention full-body orgasms, that's then 'the little death', losing consciousness...
