DUMP THIS "NEW AND IMPROVED???????" mail center! It's a piece of crap! Did someone's 7 yr old write this code? Oh wait. So sorry. That's an insult to all the 7 yr olds! Do you REALLY expect us to go through 100's of emails, especially when they don't show date/time stamps, simply to organize all our old folders again? Then to find out afterwards, your "Filter" labels aren't working?

In case you haven't gotten the message yet, let me sum up the below responses: THE NEW MESSAGE CENTER SUCKS!!! No email headers, no link to the old message center format... to be honest, every time AdultFriendFinder has introduced another "improvement," the flaws have been legion, and I've gotten tired of typing up a long list of things that you probably won't even bother to acknowledge, much less repair. For once, just give us back the old system and stop pretending this is better. It damned well isn't.

So I login today and it says I have 2 email messages. I discovered they have switched the old email app to "The New Message Center". Unfortunately it doesn't work at all. Clicking on the help link actually logs me out. What gives???

OK......this really sucks! No titles/date/time stamps, filters not working.... try this...send an email to someone ...then hit filter for sent mail...the person you sent it to disappears from the left side! On top of all the crap already..... now portions of emails, (which exceed some "unknown", unspecified and appprently varying limit), have been truncated and sent off to the land where A*FF grows its programmers and decision makers....the land of the great void heads!!! (I was going to say air heads, but that implies there is actually something in their head) Additionally, now, A*FF has become platform browser dependent, Firefox. Way to go, AdultFriendFinder. We had ALMOST two weeks of no problems.

There's little notice up in the right hand corner of tis and every page that says "Questions? Call us: 888-575-8383." I suggest that, instead of using this board to post our complaints about the terrible new Message Center and the unresponsiveness of management to our requests that they give us back the old, superior format, we all pick up the phone and express them to someone who A F F actually has to pay in real money instead of free memberships. Call. Again and again.

OK...to clarify, I am currently operating with IE version 9.0.8112.16421. So.. the Stuff about IE 6 or 7 isn't applicable. Mails are still truncated, no titles/date/time stamps and filters dont work.

I'm re-posting my comment of October 11th, which received no response whatsoever!!! With a few additions ............ ---------------------------------------------------------- "I have said this in the feedback too, but think will say here as well! It is good that you say you can now see all your messages forever. BUT ............ It would appear that from September 9th there is much less of a limit to the amount of characters allowed, as from then, not all of my message is showing! Also there are no paragraphs. No formatting, therefore my pink 'cancer ribbon' is not pink! and is showing all in a line as just words. Oh, and that wouldn't be there now anyway as it seems you cannot attach your profile! The horny devil smiley doesn't show, it shows as > There is no date and time of sent or received for each message, and no subject title. If you must do it in 'conversation' format, there still needs to be an Inbox, Sentbox, Drafts etc. Maybe a bit like Googlemail. Oh, and you can't save a message as a draft now! Well these are just some of the things I can think of ... I'm sure there is more that is not right!!! So I hope you do not switch off the original message centre, as I will definitely still be using that!" ---------------------------------------------------------- Well obviously I can't use the old one now though!!! Ok, there are paragraphs now, but still no colour. Not only does the horny devil smiley not show but there are no 'Gold member smileys' at all, such as the handcuffs, whip and the naughtyish ones! Some messages I know I sent are missing when the Sent filter is selected!!! Some replies in a conversation are blank with just a line of dashes ... It's a good job I had the foresight to copy them into Word from the old MC!!! The 'Search messages' field returns a blank list!!! Oh I'm sure there's more but am fed up and not got the time now

I am normally a very polite and easy going kinda guy, but this new crap message centre is just the last straw Just look at all the comments here about it ...... "AdultFriendFinder is listening"??? ...... WHAT A LOAD OF FUCKING BOLLOCKS

I'd also like to add that it is EXTREMELY inconvenient to be unable to organize your emails by oldest to newest. Instead we are stuck with newest to oldest and no easy way to get to the old ones other than hitting the "get more conversations" button ad nauseum. I gave up. The old messages will just sit there forever now. 2022... it HAS be better, right?!

And LASTLY, you would think after the debacle of the incredibly awful customer service responses to the whole "blog comment glitch" a couple of weeks ago, that they would actually READ emails and respond appropriately or maybe escalate it if they don't understand. I sent an email with a specific issue, which I see now is referenced by your bug CD - 10373 and I got an email response, not 20 minutes ago, not even addressing my issue or referencing the bug but instead sending me to the help button on the page. Seriously - who runs customer service there and do they speak English? 2022... it HAS be better, right?!

Yup...It SUCKS! On a phone the message disappears behind the text window...not to mention the countless times it froze my iPhone! I had to shut the phone completely off then restart it and AdultFriendFinder... also it shows I perpetually have 9 messages. so I have to use "9" as my constant then subtract that from my "actual" messages...I really didn't join for improving my MATH skills!  not my idea of "new & improved"...The only good thing is the pic attachment feature, but that's small in comparison to being able to actually USE THE DAMN THING!

Here's another bit of idiocy: There's still a Subject Line field in the email form on a member's profile page. It's even a required field! Yet since the "new and improved" message center doesn't display the subject lines of emails anymore, anything typed in that box disappears forever. Most members will fill it out and send their emails without knowing that what they type (which in some cases will be an essential part of the message) won't be seen by the recipient. Give us back the old Message Center!

Your new message center really does suck. Why did you feel the need to 'improve' (I use that word very loosely!) it in the first place? The old version worked just fine. It was certainly a lot more user friendly. This new version is total crap. I have noted that when I open one of the 'conversations' as you are now referring to our emails that there is no date on them so it is impossible to tell when each email was sent. In my opinion you should be fixing all the issues that are wrong with the site, and have been for some time instead of messing around with things that worked just fine and in the process stuffing them up also! Give us back the old message center please!

Sigh... At times all I can see is my auto-reply to the sender... not the original mail at all... I do know what I wrote in that auto-reply, I don't need to see it... I just went to check my email and the "classic" Message Center is back up! Amazing! I sincerely hope this will remain the case in the future and A F F isn't just going back to the old superior system to minimize complaints over the four-day holiday weekend. Whatever the reason, and for however long it lasts, thank you!

Well done... obviously your team is still working on this. I was pushed to the new message center a couple days ago (I think it was 20-Nov, the date you posted that the MC was live for 100% of users). My new message count was whacked, picture attachments to messages were so small when viewed it made them useless and a host of other issues. The next day I was set back to the old MC.

as you can see MOST posting on here do NOT like the new message center..give people the choice NEW OR OLD i dont like the new its too hard to read the ONLY good thing about it, is it dredges up emails from months ago..it misses sending emails..cant you roll out things once everythings working..you operate like the company i work for    je ne regrette rien

Well I see that AdultFriendFinder IS STILL NOT LISTENING!!! You now say that you are going to force upon us again the New Message Centre on Jan 15th. I tried it again the other day and NONE of anything I said in the past that isn't right or needs to be added has been fixed yet! In fact I say again that I have never received a response to these issues. PLEASE SEE MY POST OF NOV 20TH AND FIX THOSE ISSUES BEFORE YOU FORCE US TO USE THE NEW MC AGAIN.

Horrible interface!!!! OMG this is a really bad layout. I dont understand the thought process that went into the design. Has anyone at AdultFriendFinder ever used any of the common mail services? That's all we need here. Quick in check messages and out. Every change of a filter takes mins ! Yes Mins to get the refresh and why is it even required?
