I’m very upset at no longer being able to see a list of where someone has commented on one of my posts since I frequently link to older posts in my comments. Also, where is the log-out button now?

I’m very upset at no longer being able to see a list of where someone has commented on one of my posts since I frequently link to older posts in my comments. Also, where is the log-out button now? I suspect we'll get the 'who has commented' list back in the blogs, then we'll be sooo pleased to get what we already had A FF will claim it listened and cares about its customers, whereas the reality is that people just don't like the new design and would rather just have the old one, but working properly, and some of the real issues tackled like the bugs, abuse, poor customer service, and fake/scam profiles.

all in all,the new layout is shit. just as i get my head around finding blogs i either write of follow it all disappears and at the minute i'm having to view the member profile to find the one i was watching and commenting on. also the one biggest issue i have ever had with this site is your ability to turn on my auto renew when i pay for a subscription. i have NEVER given this site my permission to turn that on.i prefer it left off for a reason,if you can't respect that then don't expect me to pay again. instead of wasting time destroying what was an easy to navigate site why not try blocking the fakes that litter this site and for once how about an imc that bloody works.in 8 years ofme being here it's NEVER worked right. get your act together before nobody bothers coming back here again. rant over

You just made this site even more less appealing...and with more "glitches" than I am sure you couldn't have possibly imagined... You thought that you would "make it easier" for folks to navigate this site by "grade school" antics...and I can only say....you will have one less "paying customer"....in a month....

Which bright spark came up with the idea that after browsing a profile in 'Who's on line' you want to go back to first page of profiles rather than the one you were on. Getting rid of the compatibility stars from everywhere bar the member's profile has go to be the most stupid change of them all. Well at least the new design hasn't affected the number of fake profiles - you know something paying members really want changing.

Well the majority hate this new design or I call it a fucking mess, with no color and a.f.f. doing cuts where every they feel like!! as alot, overwhelming majority said it SUCKS!!! I guess they don't want real members anymore, just more fake woman profiles to lure men into paying. Well there is a few members new and as standard, they have messaged me to ask if it is worth to upgrade, of course I am saying NO!!!! don't bother to pay, a.f.f. does what they damn well please, do not listen to members paying or otherwise!!!! They are just after the almighty buck, well they will not get mine, and some others I have spoken too.
| |||||||||||||||||||||
|
One, why don't the blogs have their own menu. Two, why can't I see 'most recent comments by others' on my blog. Three, and more an aside from the design, why are 'where I'm quoted' and 'respond' features available only to premium members? That never made sense, as they do not give a standard member any more ability to view, or contact, other members which is the basis for your paid memberships. Cut it out and make some sense. Smart as a horse and hung like Einstein.

I am still mad about you takeing away our own individual sight design, but you have still got your main websight, full of horny girls for you to advertise!!!! So you should just change your websight to a black and white boreing web page!!! And have no color not woman to lure men, just plain black writing!!!! just put A.F.F. in big letters!!! after all you should set an example LOL!!!!!!!!

Not everyone is going to be happy with something. And of course, people are not going to like change. Change takes getting used to. Ask any person/child with aspergers. When those who aren't aware of something going to change they get mad. Some people knew about the site changes. Always be yourself

The new design of the site is not only "Very Poor" it is EXTREMELY POORLY designed. Especially the navigational development of it. Just to finding the Community Blog link took over 10 minutes to figure out where the link was. Sure I could had easily found it by going to the Groups I belong\belonged too and find a past posting of mine in the Live from AdultFriendFinder group that I once was a member of and click on Community aka Ryan blog link. However, I wanted to test out the navigation first. The same applies to the SiteSupport and there is no finding of [blog Events] listed. To get to them have to click on "Community" in the Navigational bar without use of the dropdown list, scroll all the way down the page where on the left side is "Useful Links"; furthermore, 1 of the links listed is to a member (non-employee of Various) Blog and another to a member Group (non-employee of Various) and not of Various, Inc. Operated. What I also found interesting is that the group of AFF Members Focus Group which I was the original creator and moderator of is in that list instead of Live From AFF which is moderated by Various, Inc. employees (primarily by Community). I have been a member on this site virtually from the very beginning of when it was launched in 1996 and have seen all the changes over those years. Out of all those years...the best navigational site design was the one that was just shit canned (previous to this one). The last design was and had a very "USER FRIENDLY INTERFACE" This new Navigational Toolbar design is the WORST EVER that has been DESIGNED period!!! LASTLY....it is apparent that Various, Inc. rather use links to members Blogs or Groups as informative or tutorials. BUT!!! What is Various, Inc. gonna do IF and WHEN a member that is the owner of that Blog or Group decides to turn off their profile, deactivate (delete)their profile or is ever banned by the site for possibly breaking TOU and that Blog or Group or Both is no longer available to the members??? Then the site will have "broken links". Oh and what about the members that are banned by the member that has the Blog of "Codes, charts and tips" because of personal reasons? They do not and no longer have access to that Blog promoted by Various, Inc. because the owner of it that is not an employee of the site banned them for personal reasons. Yes I know this as fact as I am one of those members banned\blocked from viewing of that member Blog, Magazine, Group, etc… postings. Which I may personally not be concern to viewing that Blog since I have a strong programming background that much of the information that is in that Blog was in fact taken from my own Blog posting of many years ago, and from other members as well that did tutorials. Still this does not negate the point of other members that do not and do not have access to that Blog. Various, Inc. needs have their developers write the tutorials of how to using the BBS tags(HTM instead of relying completely on the members. Fine use the members tutorials as additional references, but dammit Various, Inc. need step up to the plate independently from the members in these matters. The same applies to the Group part as well. Hell!!! Site employees of Various, Inc. do not even visit or are actively involved with the group of AFF Members Focus Group and have not been for more than a year. That group serve\served it purpose when Various, Inc. adopted the idea and created the Live From AFF. And then some of you that know of me wonder as to why I am not actively involved as I was before years ago with the site improvements. There’s some of the reasons to why. For premium members, what happened to our custom search box that was on the homepage?
| |||||||||||||||||||||
|
I don't feel that it's very user-friendly or intuitive. The categorization (such as having to find my blog under "Community" rather than "My Stuff") seems haphazard. I also don't understand why the "who recently commented" section was removed, but the "where I last commented" section was left. I already *know* where I last commented, and can find that easily through looking at my posts, but I have over 100 blog posts that someone may have commented on - and a stickied post indexing various older post links for people to refer back to. This doesn't seem like a very well-thought out design, and I'm disappointed.

Why not take have of the sister sites (Dating Taboo?)in the old format and le the people decide?

Well, after a couple days it seems that barely 1 in 5, or 20.8%, of those responding to the poll rated the site changes "acceptable" or above, leaving nearly 80% who do not; roughly half of all responders gave it the lowest possible grade. This is about as loud and clear a rebuke as you can get! The very first and most important rule of customer service is "Whenever possible, give the customers what they want." AdultFriendFinder has an opportunity here to engender some genuine goodwill from your members if you do the smart thing--admit you made a mistake and go back to the old site layout. Then devote your time and money to fixing those things which frustrate and annoy members--crack down on the huge numbers of fake profiles, fix the minor bugs, and improve what really needs improvement. A couple of examples: • Stop marketing the site as a place where men are "guaranteed" to get laid and making women feel like they're just here to generate more site traffic from stupid, rude, horny males. Start putting banner ads where women who would most likely join AdultFriendFinder often visit, like Victoria's Secret, Yandy, etc. Adding more female members will increase the number of paying male members over time. • Make the link to the "Geographic Chatrooms" more prominent and easier to find; people who actually interact with each other in those chatrooms are much more likely to upgrade after awhile so they can view each other's profiles and utilize the email function. (That's what made me decide to upgrade.) • Make the site more female-friendly! Give members more options to filter out mail from those whom they don't want to interact with, i.e., married/attached members, smokers, heavy drinkers, drug users, etc. And women like colorful venues; if this site looks boring to me, a middle-aged male, how can you hope to attract women in their 20s and 30s? AdultFriendFinder is heavily weighted toward males, but the only reason we come here (those of us who are straight, that is) is to interact with the ladies. As their numbers dwindle, so will ours. And no amount of new "24 yr old SWF wants to fuck" fake profiles will change that. American automakers lost billions awhile back because they made cars they liked but customers hated. Coca-Cola was a little smarter when it quickly brought back Coke Classic (and eventually discontinued New Coke when no one bought it). And we all saw what happened recently when Netflix spent all that money to restructure its delivery system and its customers balked, partly because the CEO refused to even offer an apology to them. AdultFriendFinder now has the chance to benefit from those corporate disasters and write off your mistake now instead of later. The question is no longer whether "A F F is listening" but whether what we say really matters. Do we get back what we want, or will you continue to try to force this mess down our throats and hope we go along? A F F's members are waiting for an answer. . . .

NO!! it was designed by a bunch of stupid assholes, that do not listen to paying long term customers, and want a sterile boring sight, maybe they have a boring sex life, so they are getting back!!

"AdultFriendFinder Is Listening" maybe that needs to be change to "Site Employee Community is Listening" instead. Cause honestly I do not believe those that are in the power of decisions of making changes to the site design, programming, etc... are listening to the members. Furthermore, I am not the only one. This is not the first time that members have responded to questions relating to the changes of the site when asked and the numbers equate the same basically when polled. Below is what the Poll is showing as of now. Maybe those that are in the power of making decisions to changing the format and etc... of the site will listen to the numbers and there percentages instead of the members postings. 79.4 % Do Not Like or Approve Of The New Design (Poor + Very Poor percentages combined) 20.6 % Like and Approve Of The New Design. (Very Good + Good + Acceptable percentages combined) If the powers may be are listening to it's members....then why are they only listening to the "minority" instead of the majority of the users in these decisions that are made What is above is almost 80 % of the members\users saying that they do not like the new format; furthermore, many are expressing their dislikes of it and the reasons in words. While only 20 % of the members are saying that they like it or that it is acceptable; furthermore, very very very few even have left a feedback as to what it is about the new design that they like. Those Various, Inc. executives better start waking up and realize that money is being lost hand over fist because of things such as this one. The members that do contribute to these postings of feedbacks and polls along with those that just read them, are not blind from seeing the blatant disregards shown by Various, Inc. Executives to the members feedbacks and the percentages of votes from the polls.

Why isn't there a MY MAIL link in My Stuff? We have to go back to the home page each time... I mean who cares about flirts and who looked at my profile??? Yeah I know there is an 'Alerts' pop up... but sometimes you want to write something else to someone who is no longer in the pop up, from wherever you are. The saga continues...............
