I'm seconding MagnaOtter's comments about the new web cam interface. With the old interface, new pages/im's appeared at the top and older pages dropped off after a few minutes so that the number of im's on my screen remained manageable. With the new interface, new im's appear at the bottom and old ones are never cleared, so it is almost impossible to see the new ones coming in unless you click 'deny all' to clear the screen - then people think you're being rude to actively "deny" their message instead of just not responding....

I am a member of this site that volunteers her time, like many others, to try and understand what is going on and push for the fixes and improvements that the MEMBERS want. I, like other members, often answer other members questions, when we can, because we all like to be answered as quickly as possible. I have no need, but simply try to help out the members and Ryan. It's called working together to make this a better place. If you go back to any of my comments that YOU deem excuses, you will most likely find them factual. By the way, are you going to demand that every member who helps another member here answer to you as to why they help others outside of their own email or blog? Or was this attitude reserved for me? As far as my last comment, I could have let it go and sunog22 would be waiting an eternity for an answer and simply get more angry. At least now he knows why his comment on Andrew's blog will never be responded to. Andrew doesn't work here any more and doesn't answer questions on his blog. His demand for an answer on that blog is ridiculous and he would have known that, had he taken two seconds to look at anything on that blog. He has also been around long enough, reads and responds religiously on the Advice Lines to have heard Penthouse owns this site now. You may not know who he is, but I do.

I don't feel the need to interfere, as you call it, but with Ryan's blessing, I and others agreed to answer questions in his blog to help and free him up from mundane questions. Yes, as JT responded, many can be found elsewhere, but most folks are too lazy and want answers wherever they post. It would take a person a full time job to answer just the bullshit questions around here. I'd rather he actually make progress on the issues, but that's just my opinion. Considering that I don't recall every butting into your particular issues, I don't see where you feel you have the right to call me to the mat. Since we are here and you directed yourself to me, I am answering you directly. However, I will refrain from assisting YOU in the future. My comments about who owned the site were not addressed to you, so you are the one interfering, if anything. You can easily say I make excuses for this site, but I only pass along information that I get via SiteSupport, Ryan and other site sources. Everyone is always free to double check my information and I would recommend it. You especially since I won't be providing you with any further information. As for your contacting Ryan on any matters, I have not in the past nor present dealt with any of them, nor do I care or know what you are talking about so it is really a pathetic attempt to accuse me of meddling on those issues as well. If Ryan hasn't gotten back to you, take it up with him. Not me! Ryan is fully capable of choosing when to answer and not answer comments in his own blog. No where does he ever say he'll answer each and every comment here. Lastly, telling me to "STFU" was definitely more your character. Yes, I know who you are too. Too bad you wimped out and deleted that comment and replaced it with this one. When your opinion of me ever matters, and I guarantee it never has or will, then and only then, will I "STFU".

Exactly where in this quoted comment did you ask Ryan to respond to your previous emails? That is what you said with this comment "Not a big deal in the first place...I was contacted by RYAN directly and I was only asking here why I never heard back from him....only to be attacked..." I never attacked you, but merely responded to your less than benign question. Aren't you tired of playing that "I didn't start it, she did" game? Grow up!

UUUUuuuuuugggggghhhhhhh - The circus is indeed still in town. This is my opinion. As such, it is totally irrefutable. I voice it because it suits me to do so, not to try to coerce or convince others in to a like-minded view. Since it is opinion, I revel in the sanctuary that it need not be supported by any facts at all (though what I say is demonstrably true) . Here goes.... Opinion: There are people here who 'get it' . By that I mean, there are people here that understand that the interaction here should be as though we were talking face to face. Far too many who write here do so in the security that they cannot be slapped right through the internet, though they surely would be if they addressed others in the same way face to face. If you asked a question in a crowd, and the person next to you knew the answer, it seems only right and neighborly that they tell you - even if they were not the person from whom you were seeking answers... To denigrate them for 'butting in' is just the wrong thing to do. Nassy is one of those people with answers. To jump in her shit when she is only trying to help (with Ryan's blessing, I might add) , is the height of 'not getting it' . Opinion off. D4

I don't see how you can discern who anyone is from those comments, but I guess you wear a swami hat. Regardless, how does whoever is behind that profile change the value or content of what was said? I have 3 profiles. This one which I use and two others for testing. If I used either of the other two profiles to say anything I felt, it doesn't change the value or content of what I said. I just love it when profiles are called fakes. People can't handle what is said by them. The only fakes around here are the ones who join for scamming purposes or those that lie and post false information, such as photos, claim to be something they are not, or plagiarize, for the purposes of maliciously deceiving others.

Well, I must say after reading all of the blog posts I have to jump in. 1.) I don't care who gives me an answer as long as it is correct. 2.) I can see you are frustrated, but why take it out on the people who are here to help. 3.) You and 20 other people stopped paying, OK that is your right, now that you are a standard member by your own choice, live with it. We still pay and believe as a paying customer we should receive assistance before the people who won't pay and expect everything for free. I hope this discussion comes to an end soon. No one will ever convince this person of anything. His mind is closed to anything that has to do with this site. Thanks to the people who have given your time and effort to help the rest of us with issues when you can. Now that is more than we have written in a blog in the 4 years we have been on here.

More than likely, Ryan did NOT ban your comment, but rather the programming did. Ryan rarely does that and never for the type of comment you said you made. Either there was something bannable, but given what you said the comment was, not likely, or it was a combination of words or just a simple glitch that day. Probably the glitch, in my experience. You should try re-posting it and you can always quote your banned comment and that should let it show. Ryan would likely have to go into your profile in order to see what that comment was, otherwise. Any friendship any of us have with Ryan comes from working with him to help fix this site because we too, experience the issues and want to make this a better place, not just for ourselves, but everyone. However, most folks just want to complain. Then those of us who help others out because we have gained a deeper understanding of how this site works are attacked for trying to help others or knowing more than the new or average person. People accuse us of buying bs from the site and making excuses when the opposite is closer to the truth. We are anything but complacent about the problems on this site, but instead of blasting the site, we actually volunteer our time and effort towards doing what we can, as members, to help. As far as your accusation of picking apart those that seek help, I can only say you either didn't fully read and/or understand what all happened here, so I won't address it further. Btw, your last comment about how Ryan should maintain his blog goes against your earlier comment of not telling others what to do here.

As a quick break from the drama, I'm reposting this in case anyone has figured out a solution, or a better way to handle this issue than I have. The last time I tried 'group chat' as a 'work around solution', it wasn't working for me - I couldn't see what others were typing, which made it pretty useless. I've since seen group chat working exactly as I thought it would - is there a trick to getting it to work? Any answers from anyone who has them are welcome. Cheers! Original post: "I was on cam last night (after a month plus offline) and I noticed there are some major changes in the way the incoming IMs/pages work. They don't seem to time out (from my perspective, as a cammer - eventually the page does time out, but it remains taking up space. It then reads 'timed out' or something close). When pages build up - I often have multiple pages - I can no longer read new incoming pages as the older pages remain at the top of the screen. I can scroll down, but an new page bumps me back to the top of the page - and I seem to have no option to clear pages, whether active or inactive, except by 'declining' them. Also as pages build up, my ability to decline pages individually disappears, and in order to create a clean slate I resorted to using the 'decline all' feature. Since a big part of what I do on cam is *talk* to people, and I try to answer every page verbally (I don't 'accept' pages normally, because I have a limit to the amount of incoming information I can deal with, and that would surpass that limit. I've already got my eyes on the cam, the pages, and the chatroom, after all - there's a limit to my multi tasking abilities!), this isn't working very well for me. I'm missing far more pages than previously; I feel my only option to clear pages is to 'decline' them, which feels borderline rude; and, all in all, it makes it very hard to keep a conversation going or respond to pages. It's utterly possible - nay, likely! - that I've not learned to navigate the new system yet, and there are simple solutions to all of these issues. Enlighten me? thanks, m"

Even when embroiled in a contentious discussion, it would go so much easier if all parties involved imagined that the person on the other end of the discussion were standing in front of them. I doubt that the blogger below confronts many people in real life face to face with 'who are YOU?' . Then again, who knows? I've heard it said that on line personalities are exaggerations of real life personalities, that the internet is like alcohol. If you are an angry person, as a drunk you are mean. I know that theoretically that can happen here, but this site tries to cater to every kind of sexual lifestyle as a result I just feel out of place here. I need something that's more of a mix between this site and Match. How come no one makes that site?

Could you please be specific where you are trying to comment and getting this message? If you are trying to leave a testimonial, Standard members can no longer leave testimonials, but if that is the case, you should not have gotten this message, but rather been sent to the upgrade page. If you are attempting to comment on a status or something Activities related, which is my guess, yes, there seems to be a bug which we are trying to sort out and get reported to the techs. If it is somewhere else, please be specific so we can figure out if it was a one time thing or if it is affecting everyone or is ongoing.

I do not understand: I leaved a comment here, reporting a nasty bug. Two more people leaved EXACTLY the SAME COMMENT (we organize our reports now, so you can not ignore us...) My comment is dissapeared!!! What about that??? Hi Our calls and letters have fallen on deaf ears! We have had problems with our profile page and with the system itself ever since we joined up as gold members when we were standard members and didnt pay the page worked better, We joined in april the 19th if we remember right and since then have had 73 thousand page viewa The word status on our page is missing the phrase whats happening has been there for 4 months now and cannot bhe deleted! My email when im trying to answer it the keyboard freexes and wont let us type and the form turns almost cloudy. I have never been featured as a new member on the home page, Every letter i or we have ever written we get a ...We'll look at it and nothing gets done! Other people post what we call novelty pictures when i post them mine mysteriousily get removed or lost completelythe other night and on many nights the imc boots you completely off the site or deosnt allow you to answer messages, We have writeen several times with little ideas on how to make AdultFriendFinder more fun my husband who wins awards for graphics has even offered to do little things too Not once do we ever get a letter back I even wanted to help promote AdultFriendFinder we couldnt get a answer as to if we could or couldnt....We turned off auto renew and its not that we dontg likme the site because we have had fun here but it would be nice to be acknowledged or something fixed on the page we are afraid to change anything because we are scared of what might happen Thasnks for listening and maybe you could answer us at our AdultFriendFinder e box thanks Candi and Jim

I have always been a little confused on the realtionship between trannydates and adultfriendfiender. I didn't know they were so closely aligned, otherwise I don't think i would have created a new screen name for trannyDates when i joined. But its working better now and I don't have any issues. I do have a question about if i can add trannydates to the desktop AdultFriendFinder messenger where I can access alt and AdultFriendFinder

Return of an old bug? I've experience the following problem in the past but somewhere the site corrected it. The problem being that my profile is not showing up in "whos online now" searches. This is the most important search since it lets members find you when you are online. My profile can be found in a "new search" and I also show up on instant messenger. I even logged in through passion.com but to no avail. Though if I log into my Alt account I appear online there albeit i do get knocked off quite a lot. So to sum up I do not appear online in a who's online search on on either AdultFriendFinder or Passion but I do on Alt. I have done all the usual things necessary from this side cache cookies etc. This is occuring using either IE or Firefox browser. My operating system is Vista.

Who knows where the current one of these is. Did your customer service downsize? I have asked customer service in SEVEN separate emails why blog posts get banned when there is nothing in violation of the Terms of Service in them. I have a post that has had nearly 6000 views and 237 comments and it has been banned three times in the past 10 days. Every time I just resubmit it and it's back up again for an indefinite amount of time. WHHHYYYYYY does this happen? WHY can't I get an answer? ***

im sure u guys have responded to my upcomeing questions somewhere here but i cant seem to find anyone with a similiar inquiries so here are mine... do you guys limit the number of viewers a broadcaster can have?? a couple of years ago i was simply doing my nails on cam and ended up being lucky enuff to have and im sure the number i read was correct but it said 6639 viewers.. people were getting knocked off to allow others on, i watch my cam when broadcasting, and that time i noticed that my screen view would fade in and out.. im sure it was just a fluke there were that many watching me but i remember it just as if it happened yesterday.. well ever since then i can never seem to get even 100 people viewing.. every now and then my numbers will rise to near 200 but not too often,, i am not doing no more or any less than i did then.. so am curious as to why my viewers are limited.. i keep my cookies, browser cache, and domain servers cleared (am running windows 7) so what am i doing wrong?? any suggestions?? my next question is HOW do you make bling... i have been gifted with alot of cool ones and want to make some myself but can NEVER get it to even remotely turn out presentable..
