Blank Screen? Fix It!  If you can stop looking at creamingforyou_x chest for just one moment, you'll notice there is a new link in the bottom left hand corner of her broadcast window. It says, "Blank Screen? Fix It!" Why do you get a black/blank screen when connecting to a broadcast? Most everyone is familiar with the black screen of death that you sometimes get when trying to connect to a broadcast. You usually keep clicking and reloading the feed from the broadcast home page until you get lucky and get a live one. You get this screen when too many people are trying to connect to a feed at once. You are put onto a server where the maximum amount of viewers has already been reached. It's a problem with the Adobe software that runs our broadcasts. Until we are done testing and switching to new software, we added this link to help you get to a server with enough room to view the broadcast. What does it do? When you hit this link it puts you on another server where the video is being broadcast. It has a nice little side effect of helping anyone trying to connect after you. The more people who click this link when they get a black screen, the less black screens everyone with get. When should I click the link? Click it only when you get a black screen. If the video is choppy, sound is off, or video is stuck this will not help. This is a nice little workaround that our broadcast engineer built specifically for us. Let's give him useful feedback on how it is working. |

I'll be giving it a try....not that I get that often, mind you. Not a big demand for males on cam. The only thing I HAVE to do is eat, shit, and die. Everything else is a choice.

unless you're another male! That's who all my viewers are anyway.  I did try the fix it when a friend's cam came up black, but I'm not convinced it was the site causing her black screen so I'll have to wait until I experience the problem again.

I am somehow betting it will NOT STOP the jerks from spamming our screens with "HEY I CAN'T SEE YOU.. TURN YOUR CAM ON!!" or of course "HEY I CAN'T SEE YOU .. RESTART YOUR CAM!!" and the flooding of arseholes that truly think "I" can miraculously get THEM on the cam and I should drop EVERYONE ELSE just so THEY can see me..roflmao Thank GOODNESS I don't get on cam anymore like I used to. I only seem to be on now to broadcast uh..er.. YOU RYAN!!! roflmao And don't worry.. I LOVE doing that for ya.. even if it is the rare Ghana broadcast..rofl

I'll check this out. But the screenshot on the post didn't have a "blank screen". Video seems to have been working, yet the link to "fix" it is there. Why would a guy want to click a link to "fix" what was working? I'll hazard a guess that this is new bug/feature. If I clicked on it, it might present me with yet another upgrade nag screen, and still ignore my question to customer service question that caused me to be a non-paying member these days. I agree totally with Rdy2 and I don't see it as a slam fest. Isn't this what this blog and things like this are for? To voice something to be fixed? I put on my can and totally get the damned gay guys bitching they can't see me as I filter that crap out if I can. I don't like it either! I sure as hell am not here for gay men to watch me on cam! so go ahead and tell me I am slmafesting to I guess because I want the filters to work BETTER! creepy to me.
