AFF vs The Personal Touch

Hey everybody,I'm back,but I'm seriously cosidering deleting my profile.
Let me explain,the reason I joined the site was that at the time,I had just gotten out of a seven year relationship,and I found it difficult even thinking about getting back into the dating game.So I figured,I'd post my profile and it would help because anyone who I'd meet would be someone who would have the same interests and some of the same "kinks" that I do.I joined the site and I must say I've had some success with the bolder females.
These women however are in the minority.There are a lot of beautiful women on this site and some very interesting profiles,so much so that I wonder what they're doing on this site.
The problem is that I've had lots more success hanging out in bars and pubs than I've ever had on the site.I'm a carefree,funloving guy and when I'm out,I try to enjoy myself and that goes for anyone who's with me.
I've learned that once you can make a woman laugh and relax,you are a good listener and she can trust you to be discreet,she will open up to you so fast that you'll wonder if she's the same person.
In person it's easier to do that,especially while sipping on a cocktail or scotch and soda.On the site,it's much harder as the women have no idea who they're talking to,no idea if the pic you posted is really you,there are trust issues and so on.You can send messages to 10 women and only get one reply.It's much harder to convey ideas with written text than it is to do so orally.You can read one sentence and depending on how it is read,it can have two entirely different meanings.
So,to my lovely women of AdultFriendFinder.I love you all,but you must be willing to take calculated risks.Be willing to call,but take his number instead of giving yours.Be willing to meet,but at a place of your choosing with an open environment,like a crowded restaurant,pub or bar.Have a friend nearby,so that you can signal them in case you need to bail.That's the only way we can make any progress."Nothing ventured,nothing gained."
