 well ready4u, unless you've been there I guess it would be a wee bit hard to understand. If ya have, then ya know.
I grew up around parents that smoked, grand parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends all smoked. Kinda natural progression actually. Remember to I am a child of the 60's when the attitude about smoking was not what it is today. Like I've stated above, I like the aroma and taste of cigar and pipe tobacco smoke. It's the bloody nicotine that makes it hard to quit.
Good on anyone who never started, at least be grateful that ya don't have this monkey on yer back to get rid of.
anny hoo I'll git off the box now and go slap on a new patch.
and thanks fer commenting. I hope to join the "smoke free" community soon once again.

 Well, it's been a week now. The smoking urges are dissapating some. I figured with the patches it would eliminate them all together. NOT! It gets really hard when I'm around someone who smokes or is smoking. Although I dislike the smell of Cigarette smoke, I totally love the smell of Cigar and Pipe tobacco smoke.
I was at Rapier fighter practice the other day and one of the guys was smoking a cigar during a break. Ho that was soooo hard to take! I endured tho'.... No cheating!

 Cigars are awesome. I wouldn't recommend quitting, How bout cutting down a bit?

 WOW! A whole year without smoking! I think I have actually made it. And without cheating! I still love the smell of cigar & pipe tobacco smoke tho'.
