Need Help Making a Beautiful Los Angeles Date

[Note to readers this post is old, we broke up since then, not really sure why I haven't just deleted it. I guess I'm just sentimental that way. Lol and a bit of an electronic packrat ]

So I am seeing my long distance girlfriend again in person for the second time ever, visiting her in Los Angeles, a city in which I am not very familiar. The first time was not ideal there was this cloud surrounding it of me finding out what she really looked like (yes the old using friends pictures). And I wasn't really present, just wandering around with her kinda emotionally numb in shock. But eventually I found I still love her given what is inside.

Anywho, I would like it to be special this time, and aside from mad hotel sex I would like to take her someplace or do something...that stands out, that is special. Etc. But what is there in LA? I have no clue...help me out here if you can.

Part of my thinking about this is...this is an especially hard time of year for her, it reminds her of a lot of loved ones she lost... and that confuses her romantically, yes THAT of loved one. So given that I realize that it would be good to step up, and attempt to find something...above average, to say the least. Something establishing closeness, trust, that she's safe with me, that this is all real.

I know maybe that's a little much to ask for Nevermind, maybe just some typical feet sweeping ideas would be good

For some help to you, she's allergic to many kinds of foods so restaurant ideas aren't exactly what I'm looking for, except maybe italian... Also things involving high exertion (aside from the obvious ) would not be very good as she has lung problems.

What I am thinking about is something that though she has lived in LA all her life she still wouldn't know of but is still amazing. (which actually may not be that hard since she doesn't get out much ) Something typical guys wouldn't do or have likely already done with her. For instance she likes butterflies a lot they have a special meaning for her, so something involving them would be nice, but not something that directly mirrors her memory of the last guy she ever really loved... ie a date visiting an open atrium of them -they did that already.

I have from this Friday to next Monday, and maybe some days after Christmas. Help me make it something.

I am so in awe of you doing this! I hope you have a FANTASTIC time! (wish I had a guy travel that far for me and think this hard about what to do with me! She must be very special!!!!)

Try going to someplace to be creative. That is when things between two people can get fun and interesting andyou can learn about each other!
Cooking class! Try a Tamalie cooking class.......
Ceramic class. You can go to a store that does it, sign up right on the spot, have fun, make a somethingorother and come back the next day to get it all fired!

These things are not to strenuious and are GREAT FUN!
Good luck and i will keep thinking of other ideas!!!!

Well no need now, she stressed out and didn't have the nerve to even see me... (could you get the inkling in the post that she had issues?) I haven't heard from her since. And in actually it was grandma that had to tell me all this for her.
