Eatin' Puddin' & Puss'

Just couldn't help myself with the picture choice...lol...Mike took that the Friday after Valentine's Day. No I've not been eating any pussy, so the pudding has to suffice. I have been chatting with some very sexy ladies, but something always seem to fall apart so I'll just keep my fingers crossed. There's just too much more important stuff going on to worry about my unfulfilled bi-side. When it's right it will workout.

Speaking of it working when it's right, Mike is in need of some good vibes, please send him a little good energy this week. He's having a run of bad luck and needs all the good thoughts he can get. It's bad enough when life shovels us shit but even worse when the people around you add to the shoveling and revel in stomping you in it. I feel pretty worthless b/c I can't help much from here. Hopefully he will be able to get the house sold fast. Things will be much better when we aren't seperated by 170+ miles. Our relationship is great, just the crap that life likes to throw at us makes it difficult. Lifes lesson never seem to come in sweet pretty packages, do they? I know it will all work out but it's easy for me to say, harder to live through the shit and keep that view.

As for what's up with me. The best news I've had recently is that I only have one class to finish my Master's of Education in Middle Grades Science and Social Studies. I also have to complete a 2 semester internship but am not sure whether that is class time or can be done after I walk. EIther way the end of the tunnel is in sight. I'm trying to convince Mike to go back for his MBA at my university when he moves here. Nothing like another degree to improve your salary.

I have the 2nd half of the sleep study this Thursday night. I do indeed have obstructive sleep apnea and this test is supposed to determine what they can do to help. I am sooo ready to get some decent sleep. I slept most of this weekend. Felt bad that Maggie had to do lots of entertaining herself but hope that once this is dealt with she will see a different time with mommy.

I also had my 1st visit with an asthma/allergy specialist and got stabbed 62 times for the 1st round of tests. I am very allergic to several things but not nearly as many as I figured. He changed lots of my meds and will see me again after the change has had a few weeks, the sleep apnea is dealt with. I will probably spend my summer getting several alergy shots per week to try to fight the worst of the allergies.

On one hand I am very glad to be getting these physical issues dealt with. I feel like I've been saying for the last several years that things were not right and now that it's endangering my career the Dr's are finally listening. Now I'm worried if it's going to be enough. Before I went back to work I was worried about how much time my back and neck would make me be out and that hasn't really been the problem although I'm sure it doesn't help.

Just 48 days left til school is out!! Woohoo! I need to get my lesson plans and schoolnotes page updated, so I'm gonna cut this short. Take care of yourselves and each other. I'm not able to be here much but know that I think of you all often. I miss my Blogville friends, hell I miss my real world friends and family. Seems I never have time, can't wait til summer.
Big Hugs,
LeeAnn

Kisses,
LA

Your ability to write is fascinating to me. While I can't fall into the mental/physical drama I certainly know what life is about.Learning is 100% hindsight, otherwise we could predict numbers and occurrences. People and children are resilient, we didn't make fire for nothing. Remember, happiness starts with you.....

Looks like you're getting lots of things fixed..yeah for you LeeAnn!! And yes, short term loss (of Mum and Maggie time) will be definitely worth it when they work everything out for you!!

Smooches to you twin sis!
